Our Team Members
Randy Wicks
Founded Wicks Construction over 25 years ago. He was born and raised in Gravenhurst and now resides there with his family. Over the years he has forged strong relationships with local professionals-planners, designers, building inspectors, sub trades and suppliers. All of whom are essential to the success of a project. Randy brings to the table extensive building experience and innovative strategic thinking allowing him to plan and trouble shoot each project with it’s unique challenges. He would be happy to discuss your project with you.
Andy Hare
Is the Project Superintenent for new cottage and boathouse construction. Andy is a senior member of the Wicks team whose experience and attention to detail are reflected in the quality workmaship of every buiild. He co-ordinates subtrades and workers on site, ensures projects stay on schedule, and monitors conformance to the construction plans and specifications.
Monica Golsteyn
Is a Gold Seal Certified project manager with the Canadian Construction Association and a Building Engineering Technologist. She was a project manager with PCL Construction in Vancouver, BC for 10 years. In 1999 she moved to Toronto where she ran several large commercial construction projects and subsequently became VP of Construction for a major developer of shopping malls across Canada. She joined Wicks Construction Ltd. as Co-Owner in 2007 and manages aspects of the projects including obtaining municipal planning approvals and permits, cost control, communication with clients, progress reporting, and scheduling. She enjoys meeting with clients on site and showing them the progress of their project as it develops into to a full scale reality.
